Meaning “to go over again”, this ripasso is a medium-bodied wine made by re-fermenting the wine with the Amarone pomace. This allows for complex notes and a jammy body with a lightness on the tongue.
Lady Hill Pinot Noir (Oregon)
Female-owned vineyard. Harvested at optimal sugar and pH levels the first week of October, the wine embodies the elegance of old vines. Chalky, earthy tannins focus the finish on a juicy lingering aidity built for cuisine.
Il Sasso Carmignano
Red blend: Sangiovese, Cabernet, cab franc, & Merlot. Intense and thick ruby red colour. Complex on the nose, reminiscent of fruit jam, sweet spices, thyme and cocoa. Full-bodied.
Aldegheri Amarone Classico
This wine is ruby red in color with garnet tones. The nose shows tertiary notes of oak and walnut, followed by hints of blueberry and morello cherry. On the palate it is full with good structure and tannic finish.
Hidden Post Cabernet (Napa Valley)
Black cherry, blackberry syrup and a hint of oak on the nose. Mouthfeel is rich and dense, with berries, dark chocolates, coffee and black pepper. Tannins are well-balanced.
